What is Clean Advertising?
Pressure washing over a custom made stencil on a dirty pavement in a high footfall area. This creates a clean image, or ‘Clean Advert’ in your target area.
What is Clean Advertising also know as?
Reverse Graffiti, Clean Graffiti, Pavement adverts, Street Adverts, Clean Ads, Green Graffiti, Green Advertising, Eco Street Adverts, Eco Friendly Adverts.
What is the turn around time?
Obviously the more time we have the better, but ideally 10 days is a comfortable amount of time to arrange and execute a campaign. However, we have carried out campaigns with just 2 days notice.
How long do the Adverts last?
Some companies promise up to six months. This is not true. Naturally, we target high footfall areas so your adverts are seen by as many people as possible, this means these areas get dirty faster than pavements that have hardly any pedestrians. It is better to have your adverts in busy areas for a few weeks so that they are seen by tens of thousands of people, rather than a quiet street for two months seen by a couple of dog walkers! Generally the adverts stay in their best condition for between 1 and 4 weeks.
What is Chalk Advertising?
Using temporary chalk sprays we spray over custom made stencils on private ground, or public ground with owners permission. This creates a high impact advert in your choice of colours. We can then completely remove the adverts from their locations.
What is Mud Advertising?
By placing mud over a stencil we can create a very noticeable advert that is very eco-friendly.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover the whole of the UK. We have carried out work as South as Brighton and as North as Newcastle.
What size are the adverts?
Usually we make our stencils 700mm x 700mm. But we have implemented adverts up to 2,000mm x 2,000mm. The stencils can be made to pretty much any size to meet your needs.
Do we need to provide the artwork?
You can either send us the artwork, or we can design it for you. If you do wish to supply the artwork please bear in mind that it will need to be ‘stencilized’ to be suitable for clean advertising. We can convert a ‘normal’ design into a stencilized version. All artwork sent to us needs to be in jpeg. or a pdf. format and the design needs to be black and white.
Do I get to keep the stencil?
We can store your stencil for you for future campaigns free of charge. If you would like to carry out more campaigns with the same stencil we will pas on the savings to you.
When do we pay you?
I ask for 50% upfront on all campaigns with the remaining 50% due upon completion.
How many adverts do you put down?
That is up to you. The smallest campaign we have carried out is one large advert, however the largest is 250 adverts throughout several boroughs of London. It really depends on what your campaign is trying to achieve and your budget.
Is Clean Advertising ECO friendly?
Compared to other forms of advertising clean advertising has less of an impact on the environment. We do use a very small amount of diesel running our pressure washers and for removing chalk adverts. But the water we use is clean and has no negative effects on the environment.
Do we need permission to put down the adverts?
As clean advertising is just selectively cleaning the dirty pavements councils have been do not view clean advertising as conventional advertising. The adverts are temporary and will return to a ‘normal’ dirty state in a matter of weeks to blend in with the rest of the pavements. As clean advertising is classed as guerrilla advertising permission is not asked for when selecting council ground. If you are concerned however, you can always ask for permission before we carry out the work. We have carried out 1,000’s of adverts in the last few years and are yet to have a problem. Private ground however, will need the permission of the owner.
What if the Council contacts me after a campaign?
It is always worth mentioning to the council that the adverts are created using only water and no paint is used. Also the adverts are only temporary and within a few weeks the pavement will be back to normal. If there is still a problem we can always remove the adverts for you at a reduced charge.
